DOS art

DOS art» In the mid-1990s I wrote several computer programs using the BASIC programming language. These were executed at the DOS prompt and employed the graphic functions to create a continuous series of random images (lines, colors, geometric shapes) on an 8 x 6 grid. My initial intent was to create a 'screen saver.' I soon noticed that the occasional image would appear (briefly) that I would have liked to retain. At that point I added some code which could capture an individual image. Several years later I revisted the DOS art output and added borders, altered a few as digital collages, and also used several as digital blending projects. « 010100-7x-dy |
